Aren’t action shows like this supposed to have fast paced punching, kicking, jumping, etc.? This was let down. When Yume takes over Musubi’s body, and basically just flings Haihane and Benitsubasa off the bridge…I was disappointed to say the least. As far as my news sources go, I haven’t heard about any official production in the work, so this may just be a hopeful situation put in by the studio, if they get more funding from sponsors to continue work. Thoughts: The episode ends with a “to be continued”, strongly implying a second season to work with the issues left still unresolved. Higa, the Ashikabi controlling the East, decides that even though Uzume has openly betrayed him, she is still useful. Shiina and Yukari are ruthlessly defeating other Sekirei in their continued search for Kuu-chan. Kazehana, having witnessed the whole fight on the bridge, feels herself warming up to Minato after seeing his fearlessness when he attempted to fight the Sekirei on his own. Homura is still turning into a girl, and Kazehana comments that this is his body reacting to the sex of his true Ashikabi. Mikogami retreats, now having no interest in Shiina.Īn epilogue is shown during the credits, revealing life is more or less back to normal at Izumo Inn. Shiina begins to use his power of decay to fight Mikogami’s Sekirei. Out of the way, confesses his love, and she wings him.

Shiina sees the giant trees on the TV and knows it must be Kuu, so he leaves with Yukari to find her. Minato and his Sekirei run back towards the city, while Uzume and Kazehana save Kuno and Haruka from falling into the river. The satellite that Matsu hacked has now become active again, destroying a section of the bridge with it’s laser. Karasuba shows up, and tries to fight Yume, but the moment she turns back into Musubi, she stops and leaves. She then proceeds to to throw both members of the Disciplinary Squad off the bridge. This show of love awakens Yume inside of Musubi. Minato is completely devastated, and attempts to fight the Sekirei himself. Although she puts up a good fight, she is eventually trapped under debris, and Kuno is incapacitated after using her final prayer to sing a song that saps the strength from her opponents. Summary: Tsukiumi arrives in an attempt to fight off Haihane and Benitsubasa to save Minato and avenge Musubi. Sekirei Episode 12: “Final Feather: The Sekirei of Destiny”
